Who We Are
Help us serve millions of external customers posting media everyday that makes Twitter, Twitter.
We are looking for an extraordinary product leader for our Media Foundation backend and client team. Media Foundation is responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers billions of images, videos, and gifs a month. Our APIs/services and client tools allow our internal customers to quickly and easily build media products and our external customers to globally consume and publish media-rich content. We seek to make it fast and easy for Twitter to ship media products that are efficient, reliable, and respect user privacy.

What You’ll Do
In partnership with a world-class team of distributed services and client engineers, you will be responsible for developing, prioritizing, communicating, and executing on a roadmap of infrastructure features that provide the central building blocks for media products at Twitter.
Working closely with the Foundation eng teams and partnering with a diverse set of product teams from across Twitter, you will help us:
Craft our product strategy to make sure we are delivering media infrastructure products that are fast, efficient, and dependable
Help to prioritize and execute on the full scope of the Media Foundation roadmap
Support effective communication and alignment across a complex cross-functional set of customers and partners
Improve pace of feature development and product innovation for Media customers - product, infrastructure, ML, and API (and more) teams at Twitter
Deliver forward looking media features within our internal, external and playback APIs
Define key metrics and measure the performance of the product features
Articulate product differentiation and value to internal and external stakeholders
Understand the users, market, and competition
Who You Are
You are a customer-focused product leader that’s passionate about media, platforms and APIs. You thrive in a complex stakeholder environment and can rally teams to deliver outstanding products. You bring both deep technical and PM leadership expertise, a strong intuition for business and decision making, and the ability to lead via influence.
If this sounds like it might be you, you probably have:
A history of building and shipping platform and infrastructure updates for global consumer products
Technical depth to quickly get up to speed with advanced engineering concepts and effectively drive complex infrastructure product decisions
Excellent structured-thinking and clear communication style, both in person and in writing
A knack for translating deep technical concepts for a variety of non-technical audiences
Strong quantitative background and empirical thinking skills
A rigorous approach to problem-solving
A strong growth-mindset and a servant leadership approach to product management
Strong emotional-intelligence and deep seated empathy for both engineering teams and customers
Comfort and experience with leading through influence rather than authority
Ability to think strategically and craft a compelling product vision
Outstanding planning, collaboration, and organizational skills
Qualifications
Requirements
In-depth technical understanding of high scale distributed systems and platform APIs
A track record of managing large scale infrastructure products in complex customer environments
Experience simultaneously supporting multiple teams that span several geographies
5+ years of product management experience
