We’re the creative wing of Twitter Marketing, a crew of copywriters, copy editors, designers, filmmakers, animators, producers … and pretty fun people, too. We make sure Twitter looks, feels and sounds like Twitter, anytime, anywhere, all over the world.

 

What’s happening
We’re looking for a copywriter with: strong concepting ability, meticulous copy editing skills and an interest in working on headline-grabbing brand and product campaigns. We need storytellers with a no-job-too-small attitude and a mind that can work out problems like a master Rubik’s Cuber. Even better, we need someone who can make the sharp edges of tech huggable.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior writers to concept, develop and write in all mediums, including social, product, interactive, content, activations, OOH, print, events, experiential, etc.

  • Provide expertise for Studio in familiarity and application of Twitter’s copy style guide

  • Copy editing scripts, decks and documents for B2C and B2B partners

  • Tweet sourcing, validation and legal clearance

  • Work cross-functionally with art directors, designers, producers and creative leads

  • Communicate complicated, sometimes technical topics in clear, concise ways to a non-technical audience

  • Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment with art directors, designers, strategists and product and brand managers

  • Remain up to date with #What’sHappening on Twitter

  • Develop a deep understanding of and appreciation for global Twitter audiences

Qualifications

  • 2+ years agency/in-house experience copy editing, concepting, writing for digial/product/social campaigns

  • Active presence on Twitter

  • A link to an online portfolio showcasing your work (include link on your resume)

  • A passion for concepting and brainstorming

  • Familiarity with creative briefs

  • Comfortable receiving and feedback

  • Solid communication skills and work well with others

  • An understanding of big social/news media platforms and their abilities/limitations

  • Flexible and work well under time pressure

  • A passion for learning
