About the job
Twitter is hiring a Senior Art Director to collaborate with the Design Strategy Director to ensure projects align with the overall vision and strategy of the organizations and departments this team supports. As a Senior Art Director you will apply conceptual thinking and develop design for different organizations within Twitter. You will work closely with the Design Strategy Director to develop innovative and beautiful approaches to complex creative challenges across advertising, spatial, digital and user experiences. This position also entails art direction for Twitter’s internal and external campaigns, events and other projects, working to ensure the materials being created are within the brand and of the highest quality. It is crucial for this role to be proactive, prioritize, and read between the lines to achieve buy-in from leadership & business partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead art direction and design for various formats keeping the broader Twitter story, message, brand, and top priorities in mind.

  • Adapt to and produce work for different sub-brands and project types in a fast-paced environment.

  • Identify and create compelling stories, concepts and visuals from short briefs and meetings with business partners by asking questions and recognizing areas where more information is required.

  • Proactively make suggestions and develop design systems, processes and drive solutions to problems which allow the team to scale support and impact.

  • Identify potential roadblocks with projects and find creative solutions.

  • Lead keynote design for small to mid-scale, high-priority, internal and external projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Lead projects with multiple stakeholders and ensure consistency of visual elements and the Twitter brand.

Qualifications

 

  • 6+ years’ experience as an art director or similar creative role requiring conceptual thinking and graphic design skills.

  • A link to an online portfolio showcasing your work (include link on your resume)

  • Experience using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch & Keynote

  • Experience working directly with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience managing internal events similar to company all-hands and larger external/industry events

  • Experience designing presentations, experience using Keynote is a MUST

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment

  • Experience owning design projects from creation through implementation

  • User-interface and user-design experience
