Job Description: We lead cross-functional delivery of critical initiatives across the company, serving the public conversation. Twitter’s Technical Program Management Participation team leads operations and delivery of Twitter’s highest priority work, empowering Twitter’s Engineering, Product and cross-functional teams to thrive and scale. TPM at Twitter is a centralized org with a diverse bench of industry leaders working across all orgs in the company. As a Participation TPM, you will be responsible for driving the future of Twitter’s products, tools, and platforms, while leading cross-functional initiatives that span the breadth of the company.

What You’ll Do

Lead strategic alignment and technical delivery of company-wide programs and projects in support of Twitter’s consumer products

Partner with program stakeholders and lead execution from requirements to delivery

Increase overall effectiveness by systematically identifying and solving root cause organizational and technological challenges discovered throughout program delivery

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure teams meet their schedule targets by implementing industry standard methodologies in team management and roadmap delivery, creating novel solutions where appropriate. 

Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers and Technical Leads to deliver solutions that meet engineering and business requirements

Who You Are

Experienced partner with a track record of partnering with engineering or business to define strategy and requirements

Proficient collaborating with engineering teams to design, scope, and deliver high scale services within distributed systems

Consistently trusted leader, able to lead teams and executives through complex data-driven decisions

Excel amid ambiguity, able to influence peers / managers toward shared vision and forward progress

Multitasker, with capacity execute several programs simultaneously

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience

5+ years as a TPM, engineering leader, product manager, or related field

Experience working with several different development methodologies and productivity tools

Consistent track record of shipping products with high customer impact

Proven ability to identify and resolve systemic issues in both software and people systems

Excellent communication skills

Qualifications:
