Twitter is looking for an outstanding seasoned Salesforce engineer to help lead our Sales Cloud team. We develop the core of Sales and Marketing tools operating on a scale rarely seen by Salesforce devs. We implement and support applications for our internal customers to meet their operational needs. Our mission is to keep our business running effectively while maintaining a healthy application environment.

You’ll be a leader on a committed team of Salesforce engineers focused on supporting our global sales teams. You’ll frequently interact with operations and end-users to develop scalable applications and architecture within Salesforce and related CRM systems.

Qualifications

General

• Team player who can work effectively with cross functional teams.

• Ability to drive and produce results for large scale projects.

• Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences, including technical and non-technical audiences.

• Extensive experience with secure and scalable modern web technologies/architectures.

• Highly Certified: PDII, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (or pending board certification).

• 10+ years working with Salesforce in a development capacity.

Coding/Configuration/Engineering

• Deep technical expertise developing complex, secure, scalable, integrated applications on the Force.com platform.

• Deep understanding of Apex, LWC, Aura Components, Salesforce APIs, web services, and the Lightning Platform

• Experience implementing complex, decoupled architectures

• Leader across the team in coding and configuration skills, application knowledge, and engineering contributions.

• Defines development guidelines and best practices. 

• Sets an example by conducting thorough code reviews, ensuring standards for code quality, reusability of code and unit testing. 

• Mentors and guides engineers by example.

Architecture & Design

• Identify solutions and design high-quality architecture that aligns technology with business needs and are consistent with enterprise technology standards. 

• Track record of proven good architectural design decisions that influences multiple systems.

• Writes comprehensive design documents and shepherds. 

• Drives and recommends technology radar and adoption in the group. 

• Drives the development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for new applications. 

• Establish architecture standards for IT related applications.

• A steward for security, data privacy and performance.

• Identifies and drives tech debt initiatives.

Operations

• Experience designing/building/supporting CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins and SFDX.

• Comprehensive understanding of Twitter IT business systems. 

• Ability to solve company wide issues or provide solutions for broad, complex org and company wide architectural challenges. 

• Technology leader that provides significant contribution to defining Twitter's IT applications implementation and integration strategy.

• Identifies gaps and recommends new tools to improve the overall development cycle that meets industry standards.
