Partner Engineering plays a vital role in impacting all advertising revenue at Twitter. The team cultivates and manages relationships with the engineering and product teams of our 45 Twitter Marketing Partners that drive revenue through integrations with our Ads API. Partner Engineers use these relationships to help Twitter launch new API products, improve existing products and promote a healthy API platform.We also collaborate with 7 internal product engineering teams to help them deliver products on our API.

Job Description

Partner Engineering is a team of highly-skilled and hardworking engineers who are passionate about developer experience (DX). You will have the opportunity to use your broad set of skills to influence both the product and business strategy. We’ll both challenge and support you to do the best work of your career.

  • Work closely with external partners’ product and engineering teams to guide implementation of solutions using Twitter’s API products to solve specific business and engineering needs.
  • Contribute to documentation, SDKs, open source code examples and other material to assist partners with API integrations.
  • Collaborate with internal business teams to understand the business goals of our partnerships and provide technical solutions to help achieve them.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in partner/solutions/support engineering, developer relations or applicable customer facing roles for a technical product.
  • 4+ years of experience with at least one of the following: Java, Python, or Ruby (or similar programming language).
  • Solid understanding of HTTP and REST APIs.
  • Experience writing technical user documentation, guides or tutorials. Writing samples may be requested.

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$146,000.00 - USD$204,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
