Twitter is an incredibly powerful platform for public figures to connect with their fans, tell their own stories and launch and sustain their careers using their own voices. Twitter’s Partners Team is looking for an ambitious, creative, passionate & resourceful individual to join us in working with top-tier entertainment talent and related partners in the US. This person will help partners drive creative Twitter content that serves their promotional goals while also delighting users and driving conversation on the platform. This person must have their finger on the pulse of entertainment and the conversation they drive on Twitter. You will be proactively helping them use Twitter to best connect with their audience and will be an internal advocate if/when they’re having any issues with our service. You will help drive culture through some of the biggest and most important voices on our platform.

Job Description

You should have a strong vision for the broad potential of Entertainment + Twitter while being focused on scalable impact and immediate, tactical opportunities that result in value and growth for Twitter. You’ll need direct, hands-on experience in the industry, strong relationships with traditional entities (agents, managers, publicists, social media managers, etc.), superb talent and partner management skills, the power of persuasion, and an aptitude for driving innovation. You will need to think about how partners using Twitter creatively best tells Twitter’s own Partnership story.

The Partners team at large works across partners in news, entertainment, and sports. This position will be based in the US.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve in a support function to primary points of contact for entertainment partners.

  • Manage, track and deepen Twitter's creative relationships with high-profile individuals and their representatives (agents, managers, publicists, social media managers, etc):

    • Ensure talent and other partners are embracing best practices, pushing the creative envelope, and incorporating Twitter deeply into their connection with fans and their business.

    • An ability to track the growth and success of public figures & brands through metrics and analytics.

    • Collaborate with talent and other partners as a creative consultant to develop, test, and execute innovative #OnlyOnTwitter content plays year-round on Twitter,

    • Establish, track and communicate metrics that drive the evolution of partner best practices, generation of case studies, and collateral that showcase and reinforce their use on the platform.

  • Contribute to the team’s ongoing efforts to make Twitter a comfortable, easy, and safe tool for partners to connect with fans, own their narrative, and promote their projects through product evangelism and education in environments ranging from 1:1s  to large scale events.

  • Communicate persuasively, in person and in writing to many different audiences, ranging from executives to talent, about Twitter and the value it brings to their brand/business/organization in entertainment and in support of their client’s personal passions (i.e.endorsements, philanthropic endeavors, etc)

  • Advocate for the safety of partners on the platform, and serve as the primary liaison internally and externally for health and safety-related partner needs

  • Coordinate with relevant internal teams including GCP counterparts, sales, marketing/comms, product, legal, etc on joint efforts, partner communications, and support.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency using Twitter is paramount.

  • A passion for problem-solving and proactive asynchronous work.

  • Exceptional understanding of Twitter and social media's impact on entertainment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, in person and in writing.

  • Understanding the entertainment and social media landscape, as well as how talent and PR agencies work.

  • Basic knowledge of social metrics/data analysis.

  • Well-established proficiency in business tools (Keynote, Excel, Salesforce, Google suite).

  • Flexibility in terms of job responsibilities and hours, there will be instances where requests must be handled after hours/weekends.

  • Impeccable attention to detail and ownership of all tasks.

Experience

  • 3-4 years work experience (or equivalent) in the entertainment and/or tech industry.
