Job Description
Twitter’s Influence & Engagement team humanizes Twitter for our employees (also known as tweeps!), revenue partners, executives and other CXO audiences, and publishers by creating moments of connection and conversation. We design programs and experiences (virtual, on-platform, and IRL) that engage these influential partners and key audiences in dynamic ways.
We are currently seeking an exceptional program manager, event marketer, storyteller, and customer engagement strategist to lead Twitter’s #Influence Council program. This is a rare opportunity to connect with the world’s top business leaders and brand builders through strategic programming and experiential events. Our Council program embodies Twitter’s #CareMore customer approach—delivering uniquely Twitter experiences for our customers that build trust, deepen relationships, solicit feedback, and ultimately humanize Twitter by creating conversation and connection.
This position will work closely with our Customers and Marketing leadership teams to ideate, build, and execute high-touch global and regional client engagements for key brand, agency, and publisher partners, in addition to other ad-hoc and ongoing engagement programming. From event strategy and conception to execution and production, this position will be responsible for delivering successful council programming that positions Twitter as the place for brands and partners to see and be what’s happening.
What you’ll do
Event Strategy:
Collaborate with Head of Influence and Engagement, Head of Executive Engagement, Chief Customer Officer, and Global Business Marketing and Customers leadership teams to develop event concepts and strategies that align with business objectives
Liaise with Global Event Marketing team on experiential event plans that align with Twitter’s overarching event marketing strategies and branding
Deliver innovative, up-leveled, and uniquely Twitter experiential event concepts that differentiate Twitter in a sea of same in client council programming
Event Programming
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify the most resonant program topics and tracks to bring forth during council programming
End-to-end project management of all event programming elements, including securing internal and external speakers, liaising with comms and subject matter experts on Council content and narratives, facilitating briefings for Twitter leadership and internal teams, and onsite program materials including keynote decks and demos
Partner with Global Event Marketing team on all event production components including venue, invitation management, overall event look & feel, onsite experiential activations, client logistics, and more.
Manage multiple project timelines with competing priorities
Program Management:
Drive ongoing program improvements to up-level our engagement strategies with continued innovation and creativity.
Collaborate with the Partner Engagement Manager to ensure we are deepening our #Influence Council members’ understanding of our platform and products
Identify new and emerging audiences and verticals where we can extend our councils programs
Develop and implement a strategy to scale core US program materials and learnings to global markets & partner with regional teams to execute
Manage all customer council client contact lists and ongoing client engagement calendar
Develop robust feedback loop with cross-functional teams to ensure client feedback is delivered to all relevant internal teams
Implement measurement system to ensure goals and objectives are achieved before, during, and after Council events

Qualifications
6+ years of experience in marketing and/or experiential events in the advertising, marketing technology, or media industry
Experience programming and producing client-facing events
Comfortability working with C-level leadership internally and externally
Ability to connect and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across various levels within the organization
Understanding of business marketing and the holistic role of events in the context of overall marketing strategy
Superb project management experience
Ability to toggle between strategic event planning and production and logistics execution
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Willingness to travel. This role will keep you on the road several times a year.
BA or BS degree required.
