Core Services Foundations teams build powerful abstractions, tools and APIs for consistent discovery, access and manipulation of Twitter's data. We provide a robust foundation for the Product Entity Platform to enable product teams at Twitter to quickly and easily craft and iterate on innovative product experiences based on entities, graphs, and feeds.

We work on some of the world’s most highly-scaled distributed systems, handling hundreds of millions of tweets and engagements every day.

• Lead the organization, driving its technical strategy and roadmap, and crafting success metrics in close collaboration with peers across the company.

• Experienced in building both organizations and distributed systems that scale

• Experience in systems design/architecture, cloud native technologies, and/or transition from on-prem to cloud

• Passionate about leading and developing leaders

• Committed to growing diverse and inclusive teams

• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 5+ years in software engineering management, including managing managers

• Exposure to large-scale distributed systems and server-side engineering

• Exposure to building products, taking them to market, and iterating and improving them over time
