Job Description

Increasing the speed with which we can ship products is a key objective for Twitter. In this role you will be joining the team that's making it easier to learn and iterate on what we're shipping by enabling teams to ingest, govern, filter, transform, and load streams of data into our analytics ecosystem.

Your contributions will help the team ship critical building blocks that will accelerate the development of and drive the features that get rolled out to Twitter's users. You will have an immediate ability to help work on a team that's executing on high impact projects that are some of the company's top priorities.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of driving collaboration both within your team and with other teams

  • A strong technical background preferably with experience building data pipelines

  • A proven understanding of storage and data processing systems, interface and API design, and the ability to use and apply them in real-world situations with complex constraints

  • A passion for building tools and systems that enable other developers to build great things

  • Experience working closely across a variety of teams including other backend engineers, front end engineers, and product management

  • Preferable previous experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$146,000.00 - USD$204,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
