The Real Estate and Workplace (REW) team are looking for an inspiring and passionate leader with a desire to ensure we provide world-class working environments for our employees. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Workplace Operations, you will lead our Americas Regional Workplace Operations team and oversee all aspects of Operations, Services and Facilities Management across Americas portfolio. You will partner with the wider Work Transformation global teams, including Planning & Leasing, Strategy,  Design & Construction, and Food & Events,  to help continue elevating the REW profile and value within Twitter.

This position can be a Hybrid work model. It is US  based, in the Bay Area or Seattle where we have a large Twitter presence.

What You'll Do:

  • Overall leadership responsibility for overseeing the AMER Workplace Operations team.

  • Lead, develop and grow the AMER  Workplace Operations team to drive and create a performance culture.

  • Collaboratively partner with senior leaders across Twitter and the AMER region to support their business objectives. 

  • Be a thought leader and provide forward-thinking workplace and real estate solutions utilizing market intelligence.

  • You will work with Corporate Security, Sourcing & Procurement, Legal, HR, and other key stakeholders to ensure best practices in all aspects of the work.

  • You will communicate regular updates to both internal and external stakeholders and should be comfortable collaborating with all levels in the company.

  • Partner with the other REW regional operations lead tol drive synergy and global alignment. 

  • Partner with teams to drive our sustainability and accessibility goals forward. 

  • Serve as an escalation point and be accountable for all REW business within the region.

  • Gather and translate business insights in support of long-term operations strategies that leverage the power of our brand.

  • Drive the development and implementation of strategic plans, managing annual operating (OPEX) budget processes.

  • Help drive end-to-end customer experiences for various business units.

  • Be innovative and creative in the use of technologies and be able to approach Operations with a fresh perspective.

  • You will oversee an existing team of REW Operations team members distributed across the region, in the US, Canada, Mexico and Latin America.

Requirements

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree with a minimum of 12 years leadership level workplace and facilities management experience.

  • Experience working with senior leaders to establish strategic plans and objectives. 

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills ideally with experience presenting to executives.

  • An ability to make critical decisions and resolve complex problems in a collaborative environment.

  • Experience managing staff and third-party service providers with strong understanding of IFM. 

  • Team player with excellent communication and listening skills who exercises diplomacy in all personal and business interactions

  • A solid understanding and working knowledge of the end to end  processes / practices related to facilities and workplace.

  • Strong business and financial management acumen.

  • Ability to effectively respond to sensitive and complex business and people issues.

  • Ability to work with international teams, in different time zones

  • A strong proficiency and willingness to support REW in the digital transformation of its systems.

  • Experience with Business Intelligence, workplace models and similar skill sets are a plus.

  • Working proficiency in Mac and Google Suite environments.

  • Willingness and ability to travel (~20% of the time).
