What you'll do:

In this role, you will be a cross-functional leader for developers.twitter.com (DTC) and partners.twitter.com (PTC). You will play a key role in delivering a compelling web experience for our developer community. You will define the site objectives, goals, strategy across the developer life cycle, and help to optimize user flows.

This job lies at the intersection of marketing and technical teams. While you sit on the developer relations team, you will serve as a liaison between teams that have a stake in DTC; including Engineering, Design, Marketing, Research, and Product. You will collaborate cross-functionally and apply your web and testing experience to drive projects that are critical to the success of our platform.

You will manage a Senior Web Producer contractor who will help you (in addition to other teams at Twitter) roll out and manage web changes. You will be responsible for monthly stakeholder reviews, progress reports, and quarterly planning and prioritization.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and track site objectives, goals, and strategies

  • Own the prioritization list for cross-functional teams that support DTC and PTC

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and implement site improvements that create demand for  the Twitter developer platform. 

  • Build, implement, A/B test, and optimize pages for our sites using pre-defined templates in Adobe Experience Manager, taking into account Marketing requirements.

  • Develop and test new onboarding and lifecycle funnel flows.

  • Troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.

  • Implement cross-website tracking mechanisms to help understand and improve the user experience.

  • Partner with our Data Team and others to provide reporting and insights.

Qualifications

  • Growth mindset to help us achieve objectives around growth, improving conversion, reducing churn, etc.

  • Demonstrated track record of managing and executing web development projects with measurable results.

  • Project management experience, ability to manage projects across multiple global business units on tight deadlines.

  • Ability to inspire development teams to achieve stated objectives.

  • Ability to clearly identify and communicate needs to technical and marketing teams at different levels.

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of website design, HTML/CSS/JS.

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or a similar content management system.

  • Experience with A/B testing, audience segmentation, and targeting, preferably using Adobe Target or a similar tool. 

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use data and analytics to understand and improve performance. Experience with Google Analytics or a similar web analytics tool.

  • Commitment to quality, accuracy and consistency — including adherence to brand standards.

  • 5+ years of web marketing, program management, web producer or website manager experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves

Nice-To-Haves

  • Understanding of ad tracking, conversion tracking, and website tracking codes

  • Experience translating a site into multiple languages. 

  • Technical SEO knowledge

  • Mustache (web template system) understanding

  • Experience with Jira or similar project management tool

  • Understanding of Adobe Target or a similar tool

  • Understanding of integrated marketing channels including SEO, paid media, blog.

  • General knowledge of GDPR regulations 

  • Experience with Tableau 

  • Understanding of developer documentation
