Job Description
Twitter is seeking an experienced engineering manager to help build the next generation of the public Twitter API. This includes further developing the recently launched Twitter API v2 and evolving Twitter’s public API strategy for years to come.
As part of the team, you will lead and grow a team of engineers to design, architect, and implement scalable systems that provide a secure, privacy-focused, and trustworthy developer experiences and application ecosystem so that we can manage our platform at scale.

- You have managed people for 2+ years.

- Have established a technical strategy and roadmap previously, successfully setting key performance metrics in close collaboration with other engineers, Product Managers and other stakeholders.
- Can clearly articulate desired outcomes and motivate engineers to develop simple solutions to complex problems
- Excellent communication skills and can demonstrate having collaborated with tech leads and senior engineers, Product Managers, Designers and other disciplines to deliver
- Ability to gather product & business requirements, gut checks new ideas and proposals. Proven track record establishing and driving technical advances, reducing tech debt and making significant improvements in systems
- Bonus points if you have experience doing hands-on work in at least one discipline of backend systems, distributed systems, iOS or Android development, or data science.

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$167,000.00 - USD$234,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
