Job Description

The People Services team is focused on providing seamless and client-focused transactional support to our employees and internal stakeholders in offices around the world. As a People Services Specialist on the People Services Team, you are a consummate professional committed to confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee information. You are detail-oriented and focused on data integrity and process, you are willing to put your head down to get things done, work well as a team, and care about the employee experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Local contact for all system related activity, participating in system implementations and enhancements as subject matter expert in the region.  
  • Respond to first level questions from employees on all HR topics. 
  • Triage HR tickets to appropriate SME.
  • Generation of contract addendums and other HR documentation.
  • Run and schedule specialised adhoc reports out of Workday (WD) for HRBP team. (for new needs, partner with PSA team)
  • Driving the adoption of Jira and WD in the region.
  • Create, maintain and audit employee files.
  • Maintain people data across WD and Birdhouse.
  • Maintain WD data integrity.
  • Leverage technology for HR process efficiencies. 
  • Support Regional HRBPs with Projects and Training.
  • Use available systems and tools and understand what improvements would make the most impact to support the business.

Onboarding 

  • Offer Letter generation.
  • Coordinate with immigration and relocation  teams.
  • Manage ongoing communications with candidate once they accept.
  • Ensure background check is completed.
  • Initiate onboarding through WD.
  • Lead EMEA Orientation program + ongoing improvements.
  • Benefit enrollment. 

Offboarding

  • Manage off-boarding in conjunction w/HRBP's.
  • Benefits termination.
  • Coordinate with payroll as needed.

Leaves/Sick Days

  • Point of contact for employees on leaves of absence.
  • Manage sick leave documentation (WD, med cert) and employee interactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 2+ years experience in an HR administration, operations, benefits administration, or generalist role, strong preference for the technology industry.
  • Experience with Workday HR information system and JIRA and/or Salesforce-based ticketing systems. 
  • Strong Excel skills are a plus.
  • CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) affiliation is a plus.
  • Fluency in German, French or Spanish a plus.
