MoPub is looking for a business development executive with experience in publisher sales to expand revenue opportunities and promote adoption of the MoPub platform amongst leading mobile publishers. Based on the West Coast, this role will require a deep understanding of publisher needs and goals and the desire to help mobile publishers recognize opportunities for improved monetization.

Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Propel adoption of MoPub’s monetization platform among leading mobile app publishers, with a specific focus on the gaming vertical

  • Recognize opportunities to partner with mobile app developers and publishers, drive significant value for them, and maximize the strengths of the entire suite of MoPub’s products

  • Contribute insights for world-class publishers on their monetization strategies in areas where the MoPub platform is a strong fit

  • Lead all aspects of publisher engagements through a consultative sales process and long-term business relationship

  • Own and lead negotiations and solidify commercial agreements with senior-level executives at publishers

  • Help launch new publisher accounts in collaboration with the account management team

  • Identify and seek opportunities to improve our processes, collaborate with customer service and regional strategy initiatives

  • Synthesize customer feedback to help advocate our product roadmap and support the development of MoPub value proposition in the market

  • Work cross-functionally and creatively utilize our entire organization to develop new partnerships

  • Represent MoPub at industry conferences and events, including participation in industry panels, when appropriate

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • At least 4 years of business development or partner management experience in a mobile advertising, mobile platform company, or gaming publisher.

  • Diverse understanding & familiarity with mobile publisher business models, ad serving, ad exchanges, RTB, Programmatic Premium, PMP, and online ad technologies passionate about driving publisher value

  • Experience in value-selling advertising technology to publishers

  • Dedicated aim to find, engage and establish partnerships with best-in-class mobile application developers and publishers

  • Validated communication, presentation, and deal-closing skills

  • Strong networking skills with the ability to open doors and build close relationships with mobile app publishers/developers

  • Thoughtful collaborator and teammate, able to build internal consensus and passion to drive projects forward, without any formal authority

  • Strong work ethic and autonomous ability to focus and contribute and ultimately achieve the best in your work
