Who You Are:

We are looking for Sourcers to join our Recruiting Events Teams. You will partner closely with the Program Managers for events to source and deliver talent for global events You will source talent for all recruiting events Twitter hosts and participates in externally (e.g. Grace Hopper Conference and Afrotech) and internal events. You will act as a brand ambassador passionately articulating Twitter’s mission and cross-functional business objectives to both tech and non-tech candidates. You will build strong pipelines of talent at all levels/with various skillsets for our events globally. You will execute sourcing strategies to identify and attract talent at various scales to our events. You will engage with prospective event attendees to better understand their experiences, interests, and motivations and ensure their skillsets will impact Twitter in the short term and/or long term. You are a talent advisor to the recruiting and business teams recommending talent for their current and future hiring needs. will partner with the Program Managers for recruiting events 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Understand the company’s cross-functional talent needs and the evolving external landscape. Create detailed sourcing plans that identify and attract talent through programs and events and include delivery outcomes focused on time and quantity.

  • Develop new, innovative, scalable, and effective end-to-end experiences to attract and recruit talent from traditional and non-traditional channels.

  • Source talent using a variety of tools (e.g. WayUp, National Partner resume databases, ATS) and maintain a high volume, consistent, and quality pipeline.

  • Utilize multiple recruiting resources and creative sourcing techniques to identify diverse talent.

  • Manage event job requisitions by filtering, screening, and actively engaging and qualifying a high volume of candidates. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company's ATS.

  • Build relationships with candidates that are passively in the pipeline and create personalized warm-touch experiences. 

  • Ensure accurate capture of sourcing metrics and use data to produce improved ROI for Twitter events.

  • Sustain strong partnerships with recruiting and business teams to funnel talent where/when applicable through our recruiting process for current or future hiring needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • You continuously build a pipeline of high-quality talent thru resume databases, internal/external business connections, and other tools.

  • You possess knowledge of recruiting and event sourcing processes/practices to articulate career opportunities that generate leads and manage candidate movement in the applicant tracking system.

  • You effectively screen candidates with respect to their knowledge, skills, and ability against Twitter’s talent profiles and hiring needs.

  • You partner with recruiting and business teams to understand business objectives and talent/hiring needs and intuitively connect the dots between prospects and current and future opportunities.

  • You possess global technical and industry knowledge and understand relevant tech and non tech skills and their applicability to the needs of Twitter’s business teams.

  • You leverage metrics to continuously evaluate and improve your workflows and sourcing plans.

  • You have strong time management skills with the ability to build pipelines for multiple simultaneous events or programs across various client groups with changing priorities.

 

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant sourcing, university, and national partner sourcing, or full life-cycle recruiter experience required, either in-house or at an agency.

  • Proven ability to utilize innovative sourcing methods to attract and engage with diverse talent.

  • Proven success in sourcing tech and non-tech talent for events.

  • Possess a toolkit of creative and effective sourcing strategies resulting in hiring wins.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of global, cross-regional teams.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, such as SmartRecruiters.

  • Knowledge of the recruiting and workforce environment in EMEA and/or APAC is desirable.

  • Knowledge of Splash event registration tool, Yello, Hopin, and other event and survey tools is a plus.
