MoPub, a Twitter company, provides monetization solutions for mobile app publishers and developers around the globe. Our flexible network mediation solution, leading mobile programmatic exchange, and years of expertise in mobile app advertising mean publishers trust us to help them maximize their ad revenue and control their user experience. MoPub is looking for programmatic experts to join our growing Advertiser and Agency team in New York. The team oversees MoPub’s strategic relationships with Fortune-1000 advertisers and top agency holding companies to help them successfully execute programmatic strategies in mobile apps.

 

Job Description

  • Own a portfolio of advertiser and/or agency relationships and manage stakeholders to exceed revenue goals. Focus on building new business opportunities with the ability to sell to clients at different levels.

  • Establish strong relationships with clients and become a trusted resource through all parts of the programmatic buying process. Identify programmatic activation opportunities and partner with internal teams to maximize revenue potential.

  • Act as a consultative and strategic sales partner, translating the MoPub value proposition to grow clients’ mobile programmatic business. Become the senior level day to day contact for agencies, brands, and their associated programmatic Trading Desks and provide proactive support in their buying activities.

  • Formulate and communicate product, strategic value, contractual, technical, and financial updates with partners and internal Twitter stakeholders.

  • Execute quarterly business reviews, monthly working sessions with accounts and client calls to further account objectives. 

  • Translate partner feedback into prioritized business cases to inform the product roadmap. Push new products, platform features and market changes and bring it to market in a consultative and educational manner.

  • Drive long-term partnership value by developing and understanding clients' businesses, their technical challenges, capabilities and goals as well as the advertising technology industry and competitive landscape.

Qualifications

  • You are a revenue-generating sales professional who strives to exceed targets through active strategic selling and in-depth understanding of bidding strategies. You are driven by high achievement revenue growth.
  • You have solid experience in programmatic advertising, with a deep understanding of the decision-making process, workflows, success metrics and tools used by Fortune-1000 advertisers and the agencies they partner with. 

  • You can quickly learn about new technologies. You show excellent attention to detail, with a passion for and understanding of MoPub products and the mobile ecosystem.

  • You can work cross functionally to drive outcomes that benefit our demand clients. You understand larger business context and can drive contributions that benefit not only your clients but our core publisher business. You are a team player with a solutions focused mentality.

  • You can manage multiple priorities and lead several time-sensitive projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.

  • You have excellent communication skills, actively listen to client needs, and translate this feedback back to the product team to develop high value solutions. You have strong experience overcoming obstacles by taking charge of challenging situations and delivering positive client-focused resolutions.

  • You have experience working with high growth clients and have proven success building relationships with and influencing the perspective of decision-makers.

  • You are an engaged team player with strong interpersonal skills who knows how to have fun while achieving results

Additional Information/Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record. MS/MBA or other advanced degree a plus

  • 6+ years of work experience in the programmatic advertising ecosystem, in one of the following capacities:

    • At a top-6 agency holding company within a programmatic team or within the programmatic trading desk

    • At a DSP with demonstrated experience in working with Fortune-1000 advertisers and top-6 agency holding companies

    • At a SSP with demonstrated experience in managing an agency book of business and driving consistent spend growth

    • At a large internet or mobile company with demonstrated experience selling to Fortune-1000 advertisers and top-6 agency holding companies

  • Understanding of and extensive familiarity with programmatic strategies of agencies especially

    • Campaign activation and management workflows

    • Role of mobile in-app in the portfolio

    • Campaign and portfolio level KPIs

    • Decision making processes and stakeholders involved

    • Understanding of branding advertisers as well as performance advertisers

  • Proven ability to maintain strong, active relationships with client stakeholders

  • Extremely proactive and biased towards taking action

  • Creative, independent problem solver, with proven ability to reason through a large, ambiguous problem

  • Strong process management and analytical skills, making it easy to juggle multiple client needs and projects

  • Interest in working against an assigned quota and driving sustainable growth

  • Sound decision-making and critical thinking skills

  • Flexibility to travel as client requirements evolve
