Job Description

At Twitter, Strategy & Operations (S&O) is a high impact, high visibility team whose mission is to facilitate strategy development, drive operational excellence, and foster enduring change to enable Twitter to deliver our company objectives. We partner with product, engineering, design & research leadership to promote strategic decision-making and efficient execution of the corporate strategy that delivers on Twitter’s purpose to serve the public conversation.

The Revenue team drives the strategy, roadmap, development, and maintenance of all Revenue Products (Ads, Businesses, Developer Platform) in order to drive a durable revenue business that fuels Twitter’s mission. Associate, Strategy & Operations, Sr. Director Strategy & Operations - Revenue, will drive the awareness and understanding of our Revenue Durability Objective within the team and across Twitter. Additionally, they will drive key metrics, operational cadences, prioritization / critical problem solving, quarterly/annual planning, and drive accountability and follow-through in execution of our corporate strategy. 

The ideal candidate has experience working closely with executives (across Product and Engineering), strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of business insight, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and organizations.

In general, the role has (but are not limited to) the following activities and expectations:

  • Support Revenue Product leadership by keeping the rhythm of execution humming and removing any obstacles that may arise along the way

  • Develop various communication mechanisms (newsletters, site, etc.) to drive understanding our or strategy and our key results

  • Be a critical part of a successful and healthy team: review, design, and execute on improvements to org structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them, design efficient workflows, and align internal processes

  • Represents Revenue Product as key liaison in coordinating with other internal planning functions (e.g. Finance, HR, etc.)

  • Support short-term deep dives and cross-functional project teams to structure and execute analyses needed to develop recommendations

  • Champion change and facilitate adoption of efficient, scalable solutions to increase pace of progress

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years relevant experience: strategy, operations, and program-management experience, preferably with 1+ years of experience in business and technical strategy and planning

  • Experience developing and program-managing company-wide and organization-wide projects

  • A proven track record of distilling data, and an ability to identify trends

  • Experience writing executive-level communications or proposals and presenting to executive or cross-functional audiences

  • Experience in organizational change across a distributed team

  • Proven ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success
