Job Description

Subscriptions: Help us build a new experience for Twitter's most dedicated users!  You will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, User Research, and engineering teams across Twitter on a rapid iteration cycle of launching and learning.

Commerce: The commerce team is part of the larger Ads Product Engineering organization. Help us drive Twitter’s long term revenue durability by helping to invest and experiment with commerce  products on the Twitter platform. Be a core/founding member of a team that builds custom features and solutions that enable consumers to connect with businesses and sellers on Twitter. Help them drive commerce through public conversation.

Qualifications

Required

  • 4+ years experience developing Android applications (Java or Kotlin)
  • Strong software engineering practices (e.g. coding, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
  • Previous experience (or enthusiasm to learn about) building products from scratch and building subscription/membership/commerce products.
  • Experience rapidly prototyping ideas and working collaboratively with Product, Design, User Research, and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or similar technical field, or equivalent work experience.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with In-App Purchases or Payments is a big plus.
