Job Description

The Global Business Marketing team at Twitter is looking for an experienced marketer who has program and project management experience with understanding of sales strategies and client needs. The team in Japan drives B2B marketing and helps the sales organization to succeed in their initiatives by educating, inspiring and communicating with our business customers. We have a dynamic environment where you will be able to flex your skills in strategic thinking, analysis, communications, and teamwork. We're looking for a self-starter to drive sales enablement activities such as marketing material distribution, training for sales teams, lead one-to-many communication program initiatives and much more.

You will also be a part of driving the go-to-market strategy (enablement, content and localization delivery) and execution, and be the voice of our customer for our business products.

Representing the marketing organization, you will be a chief liaison to sales teams, building trust and partnership with them as well as our colleagues in Brand Strategy, Sales Ops, Finance, Communications & Marketing and other regional or global teams.

You should be savvy in navigating ambiguity, driving clarity, and influencing strategy. You'll need to demonstrate a collaborative spirit, project management, and interpersonal skills, while adapting quickly to change and optimize learning at every step.

What you’ll do

  • Be a point of contact for the sales team and facilitate and manage meetings and communications

  • Effectively deliver compelling sales materials/narratives/tools in a timely manner

  • Develop and manage processes to deliver marketing materials to our sales partners

  • Plan and craft customer case study contents in partnership with the sales teams

  • Lead planning, development and implementations of internal conferences/meetings to share case studies designed to inspire and educate our sales representatives.

  • Execute Twitter Ads (house ads) B2B campaigns with the sales teams.

  • Drive the planning and delivery of C-level engagement marketing programs

  • Help develop robust sales strategies, including customer segmentations, vertical programs, customer engagement programs and others by working with Sales Operations, Finance and leaders in Sales.

  • Help the sales team to develop and implement seasonal sales campaigns and lead planning and execution of marketing activities for the success of these cross functional team projects as a main contributor from the Global Business Marketing team.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese, business-level proficiency in English.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Exceptional collaboration skills but also able to work with autonomy when required

  • Ability to decode complex problems and articulate challenges simply and clearly

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Cross functional team project experience preferred, particularly with sales organizations

  • Can-do attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves

  • Digital marketing experience preferred. Experience with Twitter ads is also a plus

  • Proficiency in presentation tools (Apple Keynote and Google Slides), web-based meeting tools (Zoom, Bluejeans, Google Meet, etc.), and knowledge management tools (Highspot, etc) preferred

  • Experience in a sales related role is a plus

Twitter's Global Business Marketing team is a global B2B marketing organization designed to show Twitter’s value to our customers and help sales organizations to achieve their goals. This role will work with the sales team in Japan, covering Twitter's second biggest market.
