Who You Are:

We are looking for a Manager to lead our Global Early Career and Industry Events Recruiting teams. This person will build a best in class events recruiting team that identifies a healthy pipeline of talent for all roles and all functions at Twitter from early career to Executive. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Programs, Events, and Early Career Recruiting and will be responsible for driving the recruiting events strategy, planning process and execution for all events and conferences that Twitter participates in (e.g. on campus, GHC, Adcolor) and/or hosts (e.g. #FirstFlight, #DevelopHER, #BehindthePlatform). You will partner with Twitter client groups to ensure events and conferences deliver on the goal of attracting talent to Twitter and are a reliable source of hires.

What You’ll Do:

  • Understand the company’s current and future talent needs to create a strategy that identifies, attracts, and engages talent through events and conferences sponsored by partner organizations and/or hosted by Twitter.

  • Influence and align with key stakeholders across the globe on event strategies that will meet existing business needs.

  • Lead, inspire and develop the capabilities of recruiters and hiring managers to effectively source, recruit, and hire talent through events and conferences.

  • Build and sustain positive, productive relationships with internal stakeholders, colleges and universities, external professional associations and diversity groups globally.

  • Deliver and execute against new ideas and creative approaches to constantly improve the candidate and business leader experience while maximizing ROI for Twitter.

  • Maintain a rolling 12-month global events calendar aligned to campaigns, key programs, business objectives, and recruiting and I&D goals. 

  • Ensure the end-to-end experiences at events and conferences are repeatable, scalable, and in line with our Twitter employment brand.

  • Create sustainable processes that can expedite the recruiting process for candidates generated through the various touch points. 

  • Utilize data and key insights including attendee feedback, goal attainment, and key recruiting performance metrics to make recommendations for future event improvements.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • You possess technical and industry knowledge and understand relevant tech skills, schools, events, conferences, and professional organizations across the globe.

  • You have created new event programs (live and virtual) that deliver on the talent needs for your stakeholders.

  • You have executed a strategy that delivers on the short term goal of candidate and business leader experience and long term goal of hires.

  • You are knowledgeable of functional and regional recruiting nuances to ensure recruiting events can be customized to meet the needs of both technical and non-technical pillars of the organization.

  • You are able to partner seamlessly with various stakeholders within Talent Acquisition, the People Team, and business.

  • You are intensely client-focused with a commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seeking new and creative ways to land talent via events and conferences.

  • You have the ability to work collaboratively across all levels and exhibit strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.

  • You demonstrate the capability of superior performance while being a team leader and member, able to handle ambiguity with ease, and able to hunt down answers and drive solutions autonomously.

  • You possess strong time-management skills, critical thinking skills, experience planning / executing recruitment events, strong communication skills and ability to multitask and maintain focus.

  • You have strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects across various client groups.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years work experience in university recruiting, business aligned experienced hire recruiting, diversity recruiting, recruiting events, event management, or equivalent experience. 

  • 3+ years work experience building, coaching, and leading high performing global recruiting teams at scale.

  • Proven success in developing and executing impactful global events across time zones and geographies that build diverse pipelines for hiring.

  • Experience providing efficient and effective enterprise wide recruiting event strategies to meet business needs as well as customized recruiting event strategies when needed.

  • Demonstrated experience of successfully collaborating across organization boundaries in a highly matrixed environment to drive recruitment solutions across a wide variety of needs.
