Job Description

The Associate Brand Strategist at Twitter is a key member of Twitter Next team, helping develop and position best-in-class creative opportunities to the world’s largest marketers. As the resident expert “storyteller”, the Associate Brand Strategist's role is critical to align innovative, creative uses of the Twitter platform, our users’ behaviors and the advertisers’ marketing objectives. It is an exciting opportunity to work closely with other highly motivated sales and marketing professionals in an extremely fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

Success in this role means:

The Associate Brand Strategist works within a team that consists of Brand Strategists and Creative Strategists who collectively works to grow business among a select list of strategic accounts. The Associate Brand Strategist’s primary responsibility is to: 

  • Drive the proposal process from analysis of the brief to the delivery of the final document through strategic planning and cross-organizational coordination in a timely manner. 

  • Possess strong creative and design skills, as well as seasoned experience crafting compelling story lines and data-supported presentations to help drive revenue. 

  • Have expertise in positioning, tailoring the “who”, “why”, “when”, “what” and “how” based on the client’s Twitter acumen and overall objectives. 

  • Assists in brainstorming sessions internally with team members, as well as externally with client and agency partners, with the overarching goals of distilling objectives and developing marketing solutions that help our top advertisers succeed on the Twitter platform and beyond.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree

  • 5-7 years experience in advertising/digital/creative/social agency 

  • Online/digital experience, preferably in social media

  • Experience building custom presentations

  • Ability to run data pulls and message effectively within proposals

  • Strong design/formatting aesthetic

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects and ever-changing priorities

  • Innovative approach to problem solving and storytelling, with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and consistency including adherence to Twitter and client brand standards

  • Team player, with the ability to build internal networks to accomplish goals through collaboration across multiple teams

  • Comfortable with presenting to clients and agencies, in both small or large groups

  • Proficient computer skills (Keynote, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Word, Excel)

  • Japanese: Fluent

  • English: Conversational level (Internal communication with other offices planners)

  • High passion towards Inclusion and Diversity as well as pro bono initiatives

  • Experience in Design, Copywriting, Art Direction is a plus

  • Active Twitter user is a plus
