We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager who will work with our team. This role would be responsible for developing key relationships with cross-functional and internal partners to foster Curation goals and objectives. Driving coordination and execution of strategic meetings and projects independently with ruthless prioritization of tasks and deliverables. Proven success in organization, crafting framework and processes to improve communication, and aligning multiple teams to deliver on projects or collaborate cohesively together.  Specifically this role will be helping the Knowledge Graph Operations team, a subsection of the Curation team.  


What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with Product Managers and Data Specialists to deliver solutions that meet stringent engineering and business requirements

  • Create proposals and project plans that drive projects and ensure blockages are removed and the team is delivering on time

  • Serve as the central point of contact on a program for Product, Eng, GCP, Legal, Policy and other partners 

  • Build and communicate priorities, activities, and results to the wider team

  • Send clear and concise status reports on a regular cadence, with a recovery path for any variance to plan

  • Partner with program stakeholders and lead execution from requirements to delivery

  • Partner with Data Managers to ensure teams meet their schedule targets by implementing industry best practices in team management and roadmap delivery, creating novel solutions where appropriate. 

  • Identify opportunities, define, scope, and get buy-in across cross-functional partners for projects that can leverage KGO data

  • Interface with cross-functional stakeholders across Curation, Product, Legal, Policy, and others to produce quarterly roadmaps in support of top-level company goals.

  • Review and provide feedback on documents from EPDR, with respect to KGO’s scope. 

  • Facilitate meetings, moderate the conversation and move it forward

  • Break silos between and within teams, connect dots

  • Effectively determine contingent staffing needs to deliver projects on time

The ideal candidate has:

  • 5-6 years as a project manager, program manager or release mgmt (operations or support domain)

  • PMP or PfMP certification is preferred

  • Experience in the tech industry and/or management consulting experience.

  • Fluency with operational metrics and an appetite to define and improve them

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Power to influence peers / managers and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity

  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and productivity tools.  JIRA experience a bonus.
