Who We Are:
Twitter's corporate finance group is looking for an analyst to join our team. As a corporate finance team member, you will perform a variety of tasks including modeling of financials and analyzing data to identify trends. You will help integrate data from various different financial and non-financial systems to other systems. You will also analyze trends and consolidation for Actuals, Forecast and Budgets, preparing and analyzing metrics for the total company and special projects. You will also play an integral part in data analysis and driving business decisions that help Twitter grow. An ideal candidate is a top-performer who can analyze data, find trends and thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
What You’ll Do:
Identify drivers that affect your financial forecasts and evaluate their impact on the forecasts using statistical modeling
Integrate data from HR system into a reporting dashboard such as Tableau
Integrate data from various different financial systems such as Oracle, Hyperion, Vertica, Tableau, etc. and provide meaningful financial insights
Maintain central data repository for financial applications
Understand business requirements from teams and work with engineers to build and implement new solutions
Help in analyzing & modeling forecast trends for total company financials
Gather, analyze and report companywide metrics by working with cross functional teams within the company
Create internal executive dashboards
Understand how data is generated and used within the company and enhance data collection and data management processes
Who You Are:
Ability to work autonomously, to meet tight deadlines, and to thrive in a fast paced environment under pressure
Enjoy technical modelling and forecasting using data driven insights to drive business decisions
Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analyses to management and ability to lead and drive initiatives
Experience with ERP system design and implementation (Oracle & Hyperion preferred) and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Understanding of accounting concepts preferred
Experience with Python / R, SQL, and Tableau is a plus
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Information Systems or other technical fields preferred
MBA/MS in Computer Information Systems/Business Analytics is a plus
Working knowledge with Python / R, SQL and Tableau
In-depth understanding of statistical models, data warehouse and data manipulation
In-depth understanding of financial statements
Advanced modeling and excel skills, experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and ability to generate data-driven insights
