Job Description
Support general accounting for India, acquisitions/liquidations and certain aspects of corporate accounting (US GAAP)
Actively coordinate with the U.S. and Intercompany finance teams throughout the books close process
Review monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Perform and review fluctuation analysis of consolidated financial statements M/M and Q/Q
Ensure consistent application of procedures and controls for India to Asia Pacific
Review operating procedures developed by the Shared Services Center and support initiative to streamline Asia Pacific processes
Other responsibilities include but not limited to participate in ad-hoc projects and system enhancements as assigned
Coordinate for Monthly & Quarterly Compliances WHT, GST etc..
Able to prepare Financial Statements and completely understand entity business to handle Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing, Internal Audit & Sox requirements.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Accounting
3 to 5 years of experience in similar organization / environment
Good understanding of Tech co’s group structures and Inter-company transactions (foreign currency translation, elimination)
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, strong analytical and communication skills
Excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with senior management and others in the company
Able to maintain financial accuracy while meeting closing dates
Good knowledge on Indian & US GAAP Accounting Policies & Compliance Requirements
Good knowledge on GST & its Implementation
