Mechanic / Welder / Upfitter

Twin City Staffing is now hiring a mechanic / welder / upfitter on first shift for a modern equipment dealership in New Brighton, MN!  The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in welding, mechanics, or upfitting.

Pay: $20 - 24/hr. DOQ

Hours: 7 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the mechanic / welder / upfitter:

• Ability to perform MIG Welding and Fabricaiton

Skills of the mechanic / welder / upfitter:

• Hydraulic skills
• Experience with PTO Pumps
• Pneumatic line and troubleshooting experience
• Plasma torch experience
• Plasma table experience
• Sheet metal fabrication / layout
• Industrial painting
• Sandblasting experience
• Own pneumatic and hand tools
• Experience installing toolboxes
• Experience installing aftermarket parts on cars and trucks
• 12 volt wiring experience

Requirements of the mechanic / welder / upfitter:

• Must be able to read prints and work orders
• Candidates will be required to be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• 1+ years experience in welding, mechanics, or upfitting
• Steel-toe boots
