Head of External Communications, Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement
Location: Wakefield /Huddersfield
Salary £45,000-£60,000 (depending on experience)

The Role
This is a newly created position to help move my clients premium brand business to the next level. They are seeking to develop and maximise the performance of the existing Marketing and CRM teams whilst developing their customer activity and enhancing their PR, Digital and Social Media reach.

You will be a self-starter, driven who wants to develop your own career and improve the performance of those working within the team. You will be innovative, up to date with all the marketing and social media channels, working efficiently to get the best from the budget and skills available to you.
You will have great IT Skills, Digital Marketing, Social Media, Content Writing, PR and ideally Events Management Experience.
The Role
- Managing a team of staff, primarily located in Wakefield and Huddersfield.
- Lead, develop, manage the Marketing Team to be innovative and inspirational
- Lead develop and drive the performance of the CRM team to ensure first class database management, excellent customer response and business development and retention
- Working with Senior Management, you will develop and shape both the marketing and digital/social media strategy in line with both brand and company objectives, through to implementation and delivery.
- Responsible for competitor analysis, industry trends, consumer insights and segmentation. To allow the formulation of new brand strategies, improvement of existing brand strategies and the capitalisation of the brand for emergent opportunities
- Ensure effective, branded marketing communications, including company website
- Work with other department heads to build a strong and robust business
- Delegate responsibility for tasks/projects to staff to achieve agreed marketing and social media objectives, whilst also being ‘hands-on’
- Overseeing events in all forms
- Devising, approving and overseeing the implementation of campaigns
- Managing telemarketing activity
- Review the follow-up and measurement of enquiry/lead generation
- Manage all the advertising and PR in line with Marketing Strategy
- Be the lead role to ensure effective use of the CRM system across the business and ensure maximum performance for the CRM team members
- Accountable for the application of the brands, both Company and third-party Premium Brands
- Ensure effective recruitment campaigns in order to guarantee skilled and efficient employees – employer brand
