The department of Quality Engineering (under Technology) plays a crucial role in the software development process. This department is primarily responsible for ensuring that software products being developed within the Technology org at Turnitin meet or exceed predetermined quality standards.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Software Quality Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with team members, documenting findings, and providing insights on AI detection bypass mechanisms. This role is critical in enhancing our AI systems' resilience against evolving threats and ensuring the integrity and security of our technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and Analysis: Support research efforts on current trends and methods used to bypass AI detection systems under the guidance of senior analysts.
• Collaboration: Help facilitate communication between team members, ensuring information is accurately and efficiently shared. Collaborate with more experienced team members to understand strategies and solutions that mitigate identified risks and enhance system security.
• Documentation: Aid in documenting findings on bypass mechanisms, including compiling data, drafting preliminary reports, and maintaining records under supervision.
• Continuous Improvement: Take initiative in learning and staying updated on AI, machine learning technologies, and cybersecurity threats.
• Self-Motivated and Proactive: Shows a keen ability to independently take charge, organize tasks, and manage time efficiently without needing constant guidance. A motivated individual who naturally seeks out ways to enhance processes and willingly takes steps to apply improvements.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in software testing or similar role.
• Familiarity with various testing techniques and strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Experience with documenting technical findings, creating reports, and maintaining clear and accurate records.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
