Job Description

Turnitin is a pioneer in education technology with its roots in academic integrity, delivering flexible assessment solutions to higher education institutions, high schools, and graduate programs. Turnitin is building innovative new products for the next decade of education. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist in product strategy operations with two primary projects: 1) data mapping and 2) building an intranet across products, programs, and teams with tools and communications. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify insights, and drive recommendations to help improve product strategy operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data across products, programs, and teams.
  • Build data maps and identify gaps in data across different products.
  • Use data analysis tools to draw insights and create recommendations to improve product strategy operations.
  • Build an intranet across products, programs, and teams that includes tools and communications to streamline operations.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify user needs and requirements for the intranet.
  • Assist in the development of communication materials and training sessions to ensure successful rollout of the intranet.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the intranet.

This is a paid fellowship for a period of 3-4 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. We offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment, and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product strategy operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience with data analytics, impact evaluation, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and formats such as Excel, JSON, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with intranet platforms is a plus.
