Job Description

The Finance Systems Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our netsuite ERP and other financial systems. This role will work closely with the accounting, fin operations, and FP&A teams,  providing support to users across multiple time zones. The Finance Systems Administrator will report directly to the Finance Systems Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first line of defense for our financial systems, performing day to day troubleshooting and responding to end user questions via Jira tickets and finance system team emails
  • Handle basic administrative functions including user maintenance, access and roles, ensuring appropriate segregation of duties, modification of page layouts, generation of reports and dashboards, creation of new fields and other routine tasks
  • Gather detailed change requests for improvements or changes to the system, and implement these changes as appropriate
  • Automate processes using Netsuite tools 
  • Assist in managing system integrations as well as integrations of newly acquired companies into our existing softwares
  • Train new users and grow the Netsuite skill set across the organization
  • Assist with documenting financial system policies, procedures, and customizations 
  • Support end user requirements
  • Assist end users with reporting requests, such as saved searches, dashboards, and report building
  • Play a role in testing for system implementations and integration 
  • Other special projects as required

Qualifications

  • At least 2+ years NetSuite administration experience
  • At least 2+ years working in a finance systems role
  • At least 2+ years of experience working with help desk ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with accounting and finance terms a MUST
  • Extensive understanding of NetSuite, including experience in advanced revenue management (ARM), multi-book accounting, and being integrated with a SFDC CPQ environment and SFDC billing 
  • Ability to effectively manage tight workload and deadlines
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Proven experience and understanding of financial processes 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders
