Job Description

The Sr. Manager, Content Marketing will lead the development of the global content plan and strategy. Alongside the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, the Sr. Manager, Content Marketing will be responsible for collaborating with Corporate Communications, Field Marketing, Creative Services, and Product Marketing teams to develop digital campaign content and blog content based on SEO and Campaign strategies and will oversee the development and execution by the content writing team. 

This is an exciting new role in a newly developed team. This person will be key to designing the content team organization and defining clear roles and responsibilities to create the framework for a global content strategy. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the company’s content strategies and plan to help drive the company’s brand and lead generation goals, including both the campaign content plan and SEO content strategy. 
  • Manage a global team of 5 content writers to execute the content strategy. Develop the team on how to deliver content that speaks to both regional and global markets. 
  • Assess the workloads of the content team to determine availability for global campaigns
  • Foster collaboration between Center of Excellence, Field Marketing, and Product Marketing.
  • Oversee the prioritization and development of both long and short form content for multiple products within the global organization
  • Develop and analyze the content library by region, funnel stage, segments, and market maturity level to direct where new content or content localization is needed
  • Collaborate on ongoing campaigns, including events, email marketing, product launches, and thought leadership 
  • Apply and maintain consistency of Turnitin messaging and evolve our voice in the market
  • Review and approve content developed by the content writing team
  • Track content performance to make data-driven decisions on future planning
  • Evaluate and balance priorities in a fast-paced, evolving, global environment

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of related work experience
  • Passion for writing and storytelling
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Multi-disciplined in content, paid social, and analytics 
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to develop relationships quickly 
  • Ability to think quickly and problem solve when presented with challenges
  • Strategic thinker with ability to present a cohesive and consistent brand message
