Job Description
This role will be responsible for driving the product strategy and roadmap for our writing integrity products, specifically iThenticate. We are looking for a senior product leader to
- Develop and lead a cohesive strategy and roadmap for our iThenticate v2 product, ensuring we meet the needs of our diverse customer and partner base
- Help define and lead researcher persona
- Support key partnership requirements like Crossref
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that will grow market share & improve customer experience
- Collect, aggregate & analyze qualitative and quantitative data from different sources (both internal & external) to prioritize requirements
- Monitor and use product data & metrics to validate the most impactful product hypotheses
- Translate market problems into a list of detailed user stories & acceptance criteria, create prototypes supported by market research and on-going interaction with both customers and non-customers
- As a senior leader, this individual will also be responsible for developing internal talent within their own team and alongside other product leaders
Qualifications
- Candidate should have 5-10 years experience as a Product Manager with at least 2-3 as Senior Product Manager
- Ability to lead a small team
- Experience as a SaaS Product Manager
- Ability to develop and execute on product vision and strategy
- Demonstrate creative recommendations to expand product base and vision
- This individual will need to understand the market opportunities for our Integrity products and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced capabilities that enhance our product portfolio.
- Ability to analyze data, find and validate hypotheses
- Ability to lead collaborative design working sessions with UX, Research and technical teams
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Ability to prepare and present internal and external presentations / training
- Must demonstrate ability and desire to be a team player and work independently
- Must be able to prototype or mockup desired requirements
