Job Description
Turnitin is seeking to hire a Renewal Specialist to work with existing customers in the North America K12 market. We are searching for people who demonstrate a passion for education and technology, are collaborative and entrepreneurial in spirit, have solid attention to detail, are customer success oriented and who can contribute to our continuing success and growth. SUMMARY
We have an exciting position for a highly motivated Renewal Specialist to support our large customer base of K12 schools and districts across North America. In this role you will be responsible for quoting and ensuring the continuation and renewal of a broad portfolio of customers, as well as following time-sensitive and highly structured administrative processes. As a Renewal Specialist, you will become part of our team of customer focused Relationship Managers, joining a great environment for learning, and being able to grow professionally over time.
Position Responsibilities:
● Ensure end to end process of creating a renewal quote, delivering electronically to customer, and ultimately receiving a PO from customer in a timely fashion;
● Manage a large book of business and ensure routine customer engagement;
● Document all interactions and next steps with customers in Salesforce.com;
● Follow defined renewal process and procedures;
● Become proficient in our products’ value propositions and pricing;
● Identify customer needs and escalate queries to the appropriate department;
● Report data precisely and control CRM systems to track own performance;
● Interact in a team fashion with the accounts assigned; and
● Progress in your own personal development.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
● Able to manage a large volume of customer renewals;
● Savvy with spreadsheets/excel;
● Technically adept with Google suite;
● Fluent written and verbal English;
● Bachelor;s degree from an accredited institution;
● Self motivated, passionate and thriving in a fast-paced environment;
● Diligent, organized and detail oriented.
● Strong knowledge and experience with a CRM such as Salesforce
● Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and BACKGROUND
● Bachelor’s Degree in related field
● Curiosity and passion for learning are critical in this role.
● Be a good communicator, both verbal and written. Able to explain concepts clearly and
concisely.
● Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
● Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter and motivated passionate personality that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
● Tech-savvy with strong technical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
