Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Together with the wider EMEA marketing team, support entire EMEA Sales organisation (Pre, New and Post) in exceeding budgeted revenue targets while providing a first class service that meets and exceeds the expectations of colleagues and customers.
  • Together with the wider EMEA marketing team, develop and execute activity based plans for territories in the EMEA region.
  • Develop and deliver a communications strategy tailored to EMEA territories/markets, in support of regional targets/KPIs; to include email, content, customer engagement, and organic social where appropriate.
  • Manage and drive content development to support web pages and conversions for the region
  • Work with the Localisation Manager, EMEA to translate and localise content needed across the entire customer journey (pre to post sales).
  • Take ownership of regional content management and make sure all content adheres to the tone and brand of the overall business, as well as the territory for which it is aimed.
  • Work alongside the Digital Campaign Specialist, EMEA to deliver content and appropriate localised copy for marketing campaigns that span pre to post sales.
  • Work alongside the Events Specialist, EMEA to provide communications and content support for the creation and promotion of hosted and attended, physical and online events.
  • Continually seek new and creative ways of efficiently maximising appropriate and relevant content delivery.
  • Support 'lead to customer-for-life' journey by providing the Sales team with supportive content, such as email templates and social media copy, that helps to build pipeline, close opportunities, and develop intimate relationships.
  • Act as the internal point of contact for content and communications queries across the EMEA Sales organisation, including PR, branding, and crisis responses, liaising with regional and corporate counterparts to resolve.
  • Oversee and manage the customer advocate content strategy, content and performance. Establish strong relationships with users in order to deliver a customer advocacy plan that builds and maintains Turnitin credibility in core EMEA territories. Overseeing and optimising the sales lead customer advocacy process in EMEA, hosting advocate/customer story interviews and creating supporting output of content from testimonials, written case studies, guest speaker slots at events, video stories hosted on customised regional EMEA webpages. 
  • Lead on reactive PR within the EMEA region, identifying opportunities where Turnitin can fit into the media narrative, liaising with PR agencies where necessary, and liaising with Corporate to construct, review, and sign off press releases with a fast turnaround.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • 5 years’ experience in marketing communications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject preferred, ​​or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills
  • Writing and communication skills in German, Dutch, Spanish or Turkish is a plus
  • A proven track record of planning, executing and reporting on a programme of content and communications, campaigns, and social media to support lead gen and conversion is required
  • Affinity and experience with another marketing specialism (e.g. Email, Events)
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing terms and concepts, keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to execute plans to the utmost professional standard
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Knowledge of CRM and CMS systems - ideally Pardot, Hubspot, Stripo, Stamatic
  • Ability to thrive as a self-starter and work in a team setting
  • Previous experience successfully managing and maintaining vendor relationships
  • Willing and able to travel 20-40% of time

Desirable:

  • Experience and knowledge of the education technology sector
  • A second language is preferred
