Job Description

As the Digital Marketing Assistant on the EMEA Marketing team, you’ll create value by supporting the EMEA go-to-market organisation to build meaningful customer relationships, activate leads, and generate pipeline. 

 

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Campaigns Specialist, EMEA, you will: 

  • Work alongside the Digital Marketing Campaigns Specialist to develop and execute complex digital marketing and email campaigns. 

  • Assist with the creation, set up, testing, sending, and reporting of email campaigns (nurtures, newsletters, drip campaigns & more), and conducting a/b tests where appropriate. 

  • Assist with the creation, set up, and measurement of Paid Media campaigns (Display, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter), always seeking ways to improve and optimise. 

  • Assist with the execution of routine website audits (for the EMEA region) to ensure that the websites conform to web quality standards, based on SEO best practice.

  • Assist in the development, execution, and optimisation of Paid Search campaigns through keyword research, ad copy testing, landing page and bidding optimisations, automation, budget management, and competitor analysis.

  • Assist the Digital Marketing Campaigns Specialist to track, measure, and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against marketing and business goals. 

  • Coordinate presentations, proposals, and reports to be shared with key stakeholders in Marketing and Sales on campaigns, activities and initiatives. 

  • Ensure regional online brand uniformity, content production, and delivery across all digital platforms including (but not limited to) Website, Social Media, Partner, and third-party listings and content.

  • Help teams research and recommend new ideas for compelling “storytelling” content to push through digital mediums at a regional level.

  • Work with Corporate Marketing and Regional team to ensure high-quality differentiated content production and delivery that supports campaigns and events.

  • Stay ahead on trends in email marketing and digital marketing. 

Qualifications

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential

  • 2 yrs digital marketing experience 

  • Experience in creating, editing, and developing content for digital and social platforms

  • Experience with CRM & CMS systems

  • Thrives in a fast-paced working environment with the ability to work across multiple projects and tasks at once

  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal 

  • Demonstrated ability to be highly self-motivated and work effectively as part of a team as well as autonomously

  • Excellent time management, organisation skills, and attention to detail

  • Excellent grammar and a desire to develop copywriting skills 

  • English and German language skills
     

Desirable

  • Experience and knowledge of the education technology sector preferred but not essential

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)

  • Analytical skills and data-driven thinking

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

  • Experience of marketing automation systems

  • Knowledge of SEO and Pay Per Click (PPC) strategies

  • Fluent language skills in either german, dutch, spanish, french, arabic, turkish or italian
