Job Description
Turnitin is seeking a Training & Implementation Consultant to join our Latin American team in São Paulo, Brazil. We are searching for people who demonstrate a passion for education and technology, are collaborative and entrepreneurial in spirit, and who can contribute to our continuing success and growth. As a Training & Implementation Consultant, you would be playing a key role in demonstrating Turnitin’s value and driving the customers’ long-term success. Your main focus will be supporting clients to ensure a seamless transition from post-sale to successful implementation and early value realization. Through training delivery and a consultancy approach with our customers, you will help drive usage rates and adoption, improving customer health and reducing churn.
Most customer onboarding, training and outreach work will be done remotely. Occasionally there will be client visits in person, locally or involving travel.
You will be measured on how successful customers get onboarded, usage and adoption rates, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
Understand customer goals in using Turnitin and work alongside Account Management to help them define a strategic implementation plan with measurable goals to drive adoption and usage in the institutions.
Own the onboarding process of institutions new to Turnitin and collaborate with Account Management and other teams to pull in resources and support as needed.
Deliver and prepare training sessions that are interactive and tailored for a particular audience group and enable them to fully understand how to use our products based on their goals and needs.
Lead or participate in internal projects to establish team playbooks and procedures. Continually improve the onboarding and training processes and develop best practices and workflow improvements.
Help develop and track key success metrics in relation to onboarding, adoption and retention and work with a variety of tools to continually measure and improve the customer experience in a one-to-many approach.
Collaborate with Marketing to drive content creation including webinars, videos, training guides, onboarding guides, check-in articles, documents, email templates, and other resources that make it easier for clients to self serve.
Keep track of client activity, notes, and next steps clearly in Salesforce.
Be an expert in the Turnitin suite of products, so you can guide users and answer their questions.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent.
2+ years of customer-facing experience.
Experience with training users in software products or implementing onboarding plans.
Experience managing projects from beginning to end.
Curiosity and passion for learning are critical in this role.
Entrepreneurial mindset.
Tech-savvy with strong technical aptitude.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate with internal teams for the benefit of the customer.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Able to explain concepts clearly and concisely.
Empathetic to customer needs, understand the questions that customers ask.
Detail-oriented. Keeping track of notes is a key to success.
100% fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Desired Skills/ Experience
- Experience using Turnitin products in the classroom.
- Advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Technology, SaaS or startup experience.
- Prior customer success experience.
- Experience with the Education Technology industry, teaching and learning workflows, virtual education, etc.
- Experience in the Higher Education market strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of learning management systems, education curriculum design, educational technology, and institutional sales is preferred.
