Job Description
- Ensures prompt accurate and timely processing of vendor and supplier invoices in order to enable the efficient operation of the business
- Takes ownership for overseeing and facilitating PO approvals in line with authority delegation matrix and our approver policy, flagging all concerns to upwards management
- Validates vendor/supplier master data in line with our cash disbursements policy
- Manages all vendor disputes to a timely resolution, liaising with internal stakeholders and service users to get the right results
- Assists the AP Manager with reporting against KPIs
- Integral part of the month-end close, ensure all expenses are booked and accrued for to meet financial deadlines
- Prioritizes key issues and essential services, especially vendors and suppliers of Places/People Benefits and Systems which enable us to deliver for client/customers
- Provides insight to critical upcoming payments reporting
- Facilitates weekly AP run and seeks authority to proceed highlighting any core functions which may be at risk
Qualifications
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years working in a busy Accounts Payable role
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong excel skills
