Job Description

With Turnitin’s global footprint and product portfolio continuing to expand, it is more important than ever that we establish common and modern global processes and systems to support our work. We are looking for a marketing operations leader who will help increase the effectiveness of the corporate and regional marketing organizations. This role may be for you if you jump at the opportunity to dig into data, thrive when tackling inefficiencies, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to collaborate and solve messy problems with and for your peers. This is a new role that we expect to provide immense leverage in driving marketing efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. The senior marketing operations manager will report to the vice president of corporate marketing. The role will not have direct reports to-start, but we anticipate growing the marketing operations team in 2021.

What you will do:

  • Build a modern marketing technology stack that meets our global business needs today and drive the vision for how it should evolve to meet changing business requirements
  • Evolve and modernize the approach to prospect and lead management including, but not limited to: data acquisition, lead flow, automation logic, forms/form handlers, campaign hierarchy, ABM, and scoring & grading
  • Work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to develop and enable processes that drive prospect acquisition and their conversion into MQL
  • Gather and prepare requirements for changes to marketing process, technologies, and integrations, especially marketing automation and campaign management using platforms like Pardot and Google Tag Manager
  • Be the subject matter expert on how marketing technologies are used by Turnitin including points of integration and the flow of data
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide tracking of marketing programs across various channels: measure, monitor, and optimize the customer lifecycle
  • Design enablement programs and documentation that ensure all marketing teams across the globe are able to fully leverage our systems
  • Maintain the health of our marketing database such that it is consistently useful and reliable and correctly synchronizes across systems

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing operations and/or marketing analytics
  • Experience working with email marketing, paid search, and webinar/event
  • marketing campaigns
  • Highly curious and analytical with the keen ability to glean insights from data
  • Highly collaborative with the proven ability to influence and gain buy-in
  • Solid understanding of B2B marketing strategy and channels (including ABM) as well as the key tenets of product-led growth
  • Customer service orientation and problem solver
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Deep experience as a power user working with marketing technology tools
  • especially Pardot and Google Tag Manager
  • Proficient with HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, GSuite, and Microsoft
  • Excel
