The Role

Turnitin is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to develop, implement, track and optimize digital and email marketing campaigns for higher education in North America, with the goal of generating quality leads and supporting the Sales organization in exceeding revenue targets. You’ll be on the pulse of our community of leaders, faculty and students in Higher Education institutions in North America. In your role, you are going to be responsible to identify, connect and tell the most inspiring stories of implementation of the Turnitin solutions that impact students, faculty and overall institutional success.                                                                     

In Detail

  • Reporting to the Regional Marketing Director, Americas,  you will be responsible for planning and driving Regional Digital Marketing campaigns including email, display and social media advertising
  • Research, recommend and produce new content formats that drive the attention of the different personas in the target audience
  • Identify and creatively communicate users best practices that drive awareness, lead gen and usage growth
  • Drive distribution strategy for the content across different channels - website, social media advertising, email campaigns etc
  • Continuously A/B test and optimize distribution channels at the regional level
  • Create, implement and manage email nurturing campaigns and monthly newsletters, using CRM tools such as Pardot, Salesforce and Groove
  • Write content for assets such as brochures, one pagers, newsletters, advertising and email nurturing campaigns
  • Monitor key online marketing metrics to track success and optimize results
  • Work with Corporate Marketing and the Regional sales team to ensure high quality, differentiated content is created that supports your digital campaigns
  • Ensure brand messaging is consistent across the different campaigns

Qualifications

What you bring…

  • Passion for the educational industry
  • A Bachelor degree in Marketing from an accredited 4-year institution; 
  • +3 years of experience in Digital Marketing; 
  • Experience using sales CRM and marketing automation systems highly desirable;
  • Proven ability to drive campaigns from plan to close, including the use of online and digital marketing platform
  • Demonstrated understanding of content distribution strategies across various channels and platforms
  • Understanding of how to measure the performance of various types of content marketing programs to deliver positive ROI
  • Highly self-motivated and committed
  • Organized and results-oriented

  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter and with a positive attitude.

Where You’ll Be…

  • Based in Pittsburgh or San Francisco Bay Area; 
  • May be required to travel across the U.S. and Canada for strategy meetings
