Due to continued growth across our German business, we are currently recruiting for an experienced (Senior) MEP Cost Manager (m/f/d) to join our Cost Management team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile projects across a range of sectors while collaborating with teams throughout Germany.

• Pre- and post-contract duties including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variations and final accounts.
• Preparation of estimates and cost planning, including producing and presenting final cost plans.
• Managing tendering and procurement activities, including pre-qualification, tender documentation, tender analysis and contract documentation.
• Taking responsibility for timely and accurate cost checks and valuations.
• Construction cost controlling including invoice reviews and reporting.
• Producing monthly cost reports and presenting them to clients.
• Interfacing with clients, contractors and consultants throughout all project stages.
• Supporting change control processes and managing cost variances.
• Change control commercial checks, reviews and negotiations.
• Performing cost risk analysis and contributing to value engineering exercises.
• Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Experience in MEP Cost Management within construction, commercial real estate, industrial, manufacturing, life sciences, logistics or other complex project environments.
• Strong understanding of construction costs, procurement routes and contract administration.
• Experience using estimating tools, spreadsheets and cost management databases.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven Cost Management and/or Commercial Management experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Fluent in German or English language skills (written and spoken) are mandatory.
