Job Description
The position will provide strategic EHS leadership, governance, assurance, and operational support across capital projects delivered covering the APAC region.
The Lead HSE Manager will work closely with client stakeholders, T&T account leadership, project managers, contractors and regional delivery teams to ensure compliance with the EHS requirements and Turner & Townsend standards.
- Lead EHS governance across the APAC project portfolio.
- Develop and implement EHS strategies, procedures, and assurance programs.
- Conduct project EHS reviews, audits, inspections, and readiness assessments.
- Support project teams in closing EHS risks, findings, and compliance gaps.
- Act as primary interface with EHS stakeholders and client representatives.
- Review contractor EHS plans, documentation, and project readiness packages.
- Monitor portfolio-wide EHS performance, KPIs, and reporting requirements.
- Support incident investigations, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a positive safety culture.
- Provide guidance and training to project teams on EHS requirements.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline, with a recognized professional EHS certification.
- Minimum 10 years of EHS experience in construction, industrial, semiconductor, or other mission-critical environments, preferably with regional experience.
- Proven expertise in contractor safety management, EHS governance, compliance auditing, and risk management programs.
- Experience leading client-facing EHS engagements and managing complex stakeholder relationships across multiple countries and project teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and advise senior stakeholders.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and highly accountable, with a strong governance mindset, attention to detail, and ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
- Collaborative team player with a strong ownership mentality and leadership presence.
