Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Governance & Compliance Specialist to support Corporate Real Estate project delivery across the region. The ideal candidate will possess strong process knowledge, excellent documentation and communication skills, and experience in data management, project governance, compliance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. This role will act as a key liaison between project delivery teams, client stakeholders, suppliers, and governance functions to ensure consistent adherence to established standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Support Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance (R&C), and governance reviews across ongoing projects and programs.
  • Monitor, validate, and ensure project compliance with client policies, procedures, controls, and governance requirements.
  • Drive corrective actions and follow-up on audit findings, compliance gaps, and process deviations.

Process Training & Support

  • Train and support client and supplier project delivery teams on Corporate Real Estate procedures, policies, governance requirements, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, process guides, templates, and documentation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for project governance and compliance-related queries.

Project Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain project and program reporting at project, portfolio, and executive levels.
  • Coordinate governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder updates.
  • Manage meeting agendas, capture minutes, track actions, and ensure timely closure.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.

Data Management & Analytics

  • Ensure project data integrity, quality, and consistency across governance platforms and reporting tools.
  • Analyze project performance metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, compliance trackers, and management reports.

Strategic Planning & Estimating

  • Support concept estimating activities and capital planning initiatives.
  • Assist with project financial governance, forecasting, and portfolio planning processes.

Procurement & Vendor Management Support

  • Provide strategic procurement support including onboarding and transition management of Project Managers, Construction Managers, Architects, Engineers, Move Management providers, and other vendors.
  • Support vendor governance, performance monitoring, and contractual compliance reviews.

Regional & Strategic Initiatives

  • Support the Regional Lead in implementing strategic initiatives, process simplification programs, and procedural rollouts.
  • Represent international and regional requirements during governance discussions and change implementations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a key point of contact for client teams, project teams, and vendor partners.
  • Support discussions related to compliance, commercial governance, project information, performance metrics, and reporting requirements.
  • Build effective relationships across multiple functions and regions.

 

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in Project Governance, PMO, Project Controls, Compliance, Real Estate Project Management, or similar functions.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery processes, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders across client and supplier organizations.
  • Strong analytical and data management capabilities.
  • Experience in project reporting, KPI tracking, executive presentations, and governance reviews.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
