Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects of moderate size and complexity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, from business case development and planning through execution, commissioning, handover, and project closure.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong project delivery experience in airport, live operational, or major infrastructure environments, capable of managing resources, mitigating risks, and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Drive project strategy, planning, execution, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Support the development of business cases and project objectives.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and delivery strategies.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality, safety, and operational requirements.
  • Manage project resources including personnel, contractors, materials, and equipment.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop contingency plans to support successful project delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration across all project participants.
  • Lead and motivate project team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Support operational continuity planning within live operational environments.
  • Coordinate project phasing, access requirements, permits-to-work, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage commissioning, ORAT, operational readiness, handover documentation, training, defect management, and project close-out activities.
  • Support procurement and tender activities.
  • Manage RFIs, technical submittals, variations, and contractor interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, authority requirements, and project standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • PMP Certification is required.
  • 5-10 years of project management experience with proven delivery of projects and work packages up to USD 50M (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering 1-2 full end-to-end project lifecycles, from initiation through handover and closeout.
  • 4-7 years of experience in airport, live operational, or major infrastructure environments.
  • Regional (Middle East) experience is preferred.
  • Experience managing multicultural teams, contractors, consultants, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, organizational, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, and BIM platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, reporting, commissioning, handover, and operational readiness processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
