Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Mechanical to lead and manage the delivery of hyperscale data center projects from inception through completion. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the delivery of the projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Provide overall leadership and direction to project teams, consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors.
• Manage project scope, programme, budget, resources, risks, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
• Review and monitor project programmes, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead progress meetings and provide regular project reports to senior management and the client.
• Review technical submissions, method statements, inspection and test plans.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure delivery in accordance with contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant Mechanical engineering and project management experience.
- Proven data center project experience is required.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with capability to produce high-quality technical reports.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) with strong technical writing competency.
- Results-driven mindset with a collaborative approach to achieving organizational goals.
