Job Description
- Inspect ELV installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards.
- Monitor ELV systems including structured cabling, ICT/network infrastructure, CCTV, access control, security systems, public address, intercom, and BMS interfaces.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure installation quality and compliance with approved design and project requirements.
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and relevant technical documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and verify cable containment, routing, equipment installation, termination, labeling, and system interfaces.
- Identify and report defects, non-conformances (NCRs), and quality issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, MEP, ICT, and commissioning teams to resolve technical and interface issues.
- Maintain inspection records, site reports, punch lists, NCRs, and testing documentation.
- Witness testing and commissioning activities, including functional and integrated system testing.
- Monitor site progress and escalate significant technical, quality, safety, or programme issues to the project team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, ICT Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant construction experience, preferably in data center, mission-critical, commercial, or large-scale projects.
- Experience in ELV engineering, PMC, client-side consultancy, or construction supervision, including inspection of contractor works.
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems including structured cabling, ICT/network infrastructure, CCTV, access control, security systems, and related low-voltage systems.
- Experience reviewing shop drawings, Method Statements, ITPs, and technical submissions.
- Experience with site inspections, NCRs, punch lists, and testing & commissioning.
- Data center / mission-critical experience is highly preferred.
- PMC / client-side construction supervision experience is strongly preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Thai and English.
