Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major corporate office relocation and workplace fit-out project in Santiago.
This is not a Construction Manager role. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction and fit-out delivery while bringing a broader project management skill set that includes planning, commercial management, procurement coordination, contracts administration, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and project controls.
The role will operate within a fast-paced, highly collaborative, bilingual environment and will involve coordination with developers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of project delivery.

Project Management & Delivery
- Coordinate design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and milestone management.
- Monitor project risks, issues, and mitigation actions.
- Manage change control processes and variation tracking.
- Oversee project governance, reporting, and documentation.
- Support quality management processes and project controls.
- Track budgets, forecasts, and project performance metrics.
- Ensure integration across project teams and workstreams.
Commercial & Contract Management
- Administer contracts and commercial documentation.
- Support commercial reporting and financial performance monitoring.
- Assess, negotiate, and manage variations and change orders.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Review payment applications and certification processes.
- Assist with cost control and commercial risk management.
Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination
- Support procurement planning and tender processes.
- Coordinate long-lead procurement activities and procurement tracking.
- Assist with vendor qualification and contract award processes.
- Coordinate FF&E procurement activities and delivery schedules.
- Monitor supply chain risks and mitigation plans.
- Support management of manufacturing, delivery, and installation interfaces.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders.
- Lead meetings, workshops, and project coordination sessions.
- Drive accountability and follow-through on project actions.
- Escalate risks and issues appropriately.
- Facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- 8-10+ years of experience in project management, project engineering, design management, or project delivery roles.
- Demonstrated experience delivering commercial office fit-out, workplace transformation, or corporate relocation projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction delivery methodologies and fit-out processes.
- Experience coordinating consultants, contractors, specialist vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Understanding of procurement, planning, contract administration, and commercial management.
- Knowledge of local permitting, authority approval, and building handover processes.
- Experience working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders and delivery interfaces.
- Proven experience managing project risks, issues, change control, and reporting processes.
- Proficiency with project planning and reporting tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms.
- Fluent English and Spanish communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Commercial Management, or Business Administration.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, APM, MRICS, or equivalent.
- Experience delivering office relocations and workplace transformation programs.
- Experience working on landlord/developer interface projects.
- Knowledge of commissioning, handover, and operational readiness planning.
- Understanding of Chilean construction regulations and permitting requirements.
- Experience working with international clients and multinational project teams.
- Background in commercial administration, cost management, and contract negotiation.
- Familiarity with FF&E procurement, workplace technology implementation, and workplace operations.
