Job Description


 

Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team in support of Real Estate team. The ideal individual will have prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain to deliver compliant projects.
  • Can analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
  • Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized
  • Ensure application of best practice on all projects
  • Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required
  • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly
  • Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
  • Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications
  • Forecast and update key project milestones
  • Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders
  • Rapid response to RFIs from the field
  • Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required
  • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers
  • Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities
  • Strategic Thinking - provide advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives
  • Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured
  • Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

 

Project Specifications: 

  • Lead delivery of major civil and utility infrastructure projects supporting large-scale mixed-use developments and master-planned communities.
  • Manage installation and coordination of wet and dry utility systems including water, sewer, storm drainage, electrical, gas, and telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Oversee roadway, streetscape, grading, site development, and off-site infrastructure improvements.
  • Coordinate closely with city agencies, utility providers, permitting authorities, developers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Manage utility conflict resolution, sequencing, cutover planning, and commissioning activities.
  • Monitor design development, procurement, construction execution, and project closeout activities.
  • Lead risk management, change management, stakeholder engagement, and project controls processes.
  • Ensure compliance with permitting requirements, environmental commitments, regulatory approvals, and utility agency standards.
  • Support phased infrastructure delivery across multiple concurrent projects and development parcels.

Qualifications


 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. PMP, CCM or OSHA 30 certifications preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience managing civil infrastructure, utility, land development, or large-scale construction programs.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering horizontal infrastructure projects including utility systems, roadway improvements, grading, and site development.
  • Experience working with public agencies, utility providers, municipalities, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of utility coordination, permitting processes, environmental compliance, and construction sequencing.
  • Proven track record managing multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications.
  • Experience supporting large urban redevelopment or master-planned community projects strongly preferred.
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
  • Excellent communication skills

*On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs.

The base salary range for this role is $150K-$180K. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the base salary for this position at the time of the posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package
