Job Description
- Coordinate daily construction activities across multiple disciplines, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process utility works.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work activities align with project schedules and milestones.
- Facilitate communication between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Support construction planning, sequencing, and logistics to minimize disruptions and optimize productivity.
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment mobilization, and workforce requirements.
- Track project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays.
- Assist in developing recovery plans and mitigation strategies when schedule risks arise.
- Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly progress review meetings.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain construction records.
- Promote and enforce compliance with Intel's Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards and site safety requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate safety risks.
- Ensure contractors comply with project safety procedures, permit systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Support incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Verify construction activities comply with project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes.
- Assist with punch list management and project closeout activities.
- Support resolution of field issues and non-conformance reports.
- Act as the primary coordination point between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Facilitate issue resolution and ensure timely communication of project updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of construction coordination experience on industrial, mission-critical, data center, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or large-scale manufacturing projects.
- Experience working in semiconductor fabrication facilities (fabs) or cleanroom environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with fast-track construction environments is an advantage.
- Understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project controls.
- Knowledge of MEP systems, process utilities, and cleanroom construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling software.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
