Turner & Townsend is looking for a Commissioning Manager to work on a large, complex, Data Center project in Denmark.
As Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for managing the project Commissioning process on behalf of the Turner & Townsend Project management & Consultancy team (PM-C) on site.
This role additionally includes travel within the EU for off site factory testing & witnessing.
You’ll work closely with other business functions across projects to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and budget requirements.
This role will require a daily, on-site presence in Denmark.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Lead Daily/ Weekly commissioning meetings, Internally, vendor and Client
- Manage, deliver and obtain approval on relevant project commissioning documents such as Test Scripts, Compliance statements etc
- Manage the receipt, review and compliance of project commissioning documentation to achieve the necessary sign off
- Managing the Commissioning Schedule
- Manage a team of Commissioning Engineers and Vendors
- Equipment Installation Oversight
- Supervise the installation of new equipment, systems, and facilities.
- Inspect and verify the correct functioning of electrical, mechanical, and environmental control systems.
- Testing and Verification: Conduct tests to ensure operational efficacy
- Prepare and deliver Commissioning reports, progress, issues log and Risks.
- Manage the close out of commissioning risks & issues with the Contractors & Vendors.
- Verify the integrity and performance of critical systems.
- Approve the finalization of the project based on successful testing.
Qualifications
- 10 years’ experience of industrial equipment and systems commissioning & Management
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical equipment and systems,
- Familiarity with control systems for critical infrastructures.
- Experienced in Quality Control & verification.
- Familiarity with Google drive, email etc
- Must have a “team attitude”, be self-motivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.
- Influencing skills as well as strong communication skills allowing you to effectively interact with clients, contractors, management, and colleagues.
- An ability to manage expectations, influence change, and report/update accurately on progress drawing on you strong planning and organization skills.
