Turner & Townsend Building Consultancy is a leading advisor in commercial real estate. Together with our clients, we deliver multidisciplinary, complex, and sustainable projects. Through our extensive national and international client base, Turner & Townsend/ CBRE is involved in some of the largest, most interesting, and most challenging real estate projects in the Netherlands. As an Installation Consultant, you will play a key role in these projects.

What will you do?

As an Installation Consultant, you will be part of the Building Consultancy team, advising owners and occupiers of commercial real estate on both strategic and technical matters. Depending on your experience and seniority, you will be given increasing responsibility, more complex assignments, and a greater advisory role towards clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising on building services and technical installation matters related to redevelopment and new construction projects;
• Supporting and advising on acquisitions, disposals, second opinions, and refinancing projects;
• Conducting technical monitoring and quality assessments;
• Preparing maintenance plans and maintenance advisory reports;
• Drafting technical specifications and tender documentation;
• Managing and supporting tender processes for construction and installation works;
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders while balancing technical and commercial interests.

You will provide advice at the appropriate level of detail, tailored to the project phase and client requirements. As a true connector, you will bring together the interests of different stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes.

What are we looking for?

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar);
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical consultancy and/or construction project delivery;
• Affinity with maintenance, renovations, inspections, and cost consultancy;
• A results-driven, pragmatic, and quality-focused mindset;
• Strong sense of ownership and a proactive attitude;
• Experience with, or interest in, multidisciplinary collaboration;
• The ability to combine technical expertise with commercial awareness;
• Strong communication skills in ideally both Dutch and English;
• The ability to switch seamlessly between analysis, reporting, on-site inspections, and stakeholder management;
• A driving licence is beneficial, as some project locations may be less accessible by public transport.
